Medicinal Herb Garden Planning

A practical planning course for growing herbs that you will actually harvest, preserve, and use.
Most people who dream of a beautiful medicinal herb garden begin either by randomly starting a few seeds that struggle, or are met with overwhelm when they look into the world of garden planning.
This course gives you a simple framework that walks you through planning your garden, start to finish – leaving you with an actionable plan you can start on for this year’s growing season!
This course walks you through
planning a thriving herb garden
By the end, you will be able to:
- Assess what growing space you have, to choose herbs that will thrive
- Interpret growing zones, frost dates, and create your own growing calendar
- Know how and when to start seeds indoors, direct sow, or transplant your herbs
- Choose herbs based on medicinal actions you will actually use
- Design a beautiful garden that optimizes the area you have

Why Planning Matters More Than Plant Lists
This is not a growing guide on individual herbs (although that is included!) But a full framework for garden planning. This course will help you avoid the pitfalls many new gardeners can fall into.
When timing is unclear, people:
- Start seeds too late/early for success
- Place plants in areas that aren’t suited for them
- Miss transplant windows
- Feel overwhelmed keeping up with garden tasks
- End the season with unused dried herbs or no preservation plan
A clear planning process lets you skip the headache and disappointment of failed seedlings and a struggling garden.

How This Course is Taught
The course combines short, focused videos walking you through essential garden processes + Clear, on-page instructions for planning, seed starting, and plant care.
There are also downloadable worksheets that help you decide on the best choices for you and your garden
There is no pressure to complete everything at once. The material is meant to be used seasonally. Although, if you would like, you can complete this course in a single day and come out of it ready to start gardening right away.

About the Instructor – Cassidy Moss
Cassidy Moss is a clinical herbalist, educator, and former biodynamic farm manager who brings regenerative agriculture into home-scale medicinal gardening.
Before her career as a clinical herbalist, Cassidy managed biodynamic farms and worked within regenerative growing systems that prioritized soil health, ecological balance, and long-term resilience over short-term yield. As a clinical herbalist, Cassidy combines that agricultural background with a deep understanding of plant chemistry and therapeutic action. She takes both of these skills now into her work to show students how to grow potent medicinal gardens – right in your backyard!
